SmutSlam: who knows what f!lth lies in the hearts of humans? WE DO.

Berlin’s only community dirty storytelling open mic comes inside for the season, with SmutSlam creator Cameryn Moore back behind the wheel, on Oct 16, at 7pm CET. The theme? "BUMP IN THE NIGHT," with stories about Intriguing shadows, unexplained noises, encounters not of this world, and other thrilling tales that might just make you jump in your seat.

We are proud to join the 2023 Podfest Berlin as a satellite event, which means that all advance ticket buyers of Smut Slam tickets will receive a special discount to the entire weekend of Podfest events.

Tickets: €15-20 sliding scale donation per person in advance, €20 cash at the door. Low-income €10 rush tickets available at the door ONLY, if any tickets remain unsold at time of show.

Created by professional perv Cameryn Moore, SmutSlam features real-life, first-person sx stories from the audience, stories from guests and sometimes even celebrity judges, and also readings from THE FUCKBUCKET, a convenient and funnily named receptacle for all your anonymous questions and confessions!

IMPORTANT: Smut Slam is queer-friendly, k!nk- AND vanilla-friendly, fat-friendly, sx worker-friendly, virgin-friendly, polyamory-friendly, we're really, really friendly. We welcome people with all types and amounts of sxual experiences. We DO NOT welcome stories or fuckbuckets involving racism, sxism, homophobia, transphobia or any other kind of discrimination, or nonconsensual objectification or fetishization. All activities discussed must be CONSENSUAL.

SMUTSLAM is CREATED by Cameryn Moore, an award-winning playwright/performer, sx activist and educator, and former phone sx operator. When not performing, riding the train, or actually having sx herself, Cameryn writes Sidewalk Smvt: custom type-written erotica as street performance and literary art.

*** We encourage mask use indoors. This remains one of the best ways to protect yourself against getting sick from COVID or any of the other airborne diseases going around.
*** Crack Bellmer has a government-certified machine that exchanges all the air in the room every 10-15 minutes. Included in that system is a HEPA filter.
*** TESTING NOTICE: Please bring photo of same-day negative test results, or come early to take a self-test at the door (for €1, thank you!). We will have Smutterlings on hand to assist. IF YOU TEST POSITIVE, we will have to send you home.
** As always, we are closely watching current COVID-19 rates, and as things change, one way or the other, we may loosen or tighten our pandemic protocols. We will never surprise you with changes, but tell you in advance, so you can make informed decisions. Smut Slam keeps both comfort and well-being in mind, for the community!

Get ready for another round of Nanji & Friends, as we wave goodbye to the end of summer! We're all set to heat up the dance floor once again with our local DJ showcase, promising a night of non-stop dancing.

The concept is straightforward: we're inviting talented up-and-comers and our crew of friends for a night of groovy tunes. This time around, we're thrilled to have Margaux from Giegling, Max Dewavrin, a top vinyl DJ, and Oyster Catcher hailing all the way from Les Jardins Suspendus in Marseille. Of course, our Nanji crew, including Keumzer and Lobby, will be taking the decks to keep the beats flowing.

FRIEDRICHSHAIN, BERLIN – Queer cabaret Pangæa takes place every 2nd Friday of the month at Crack Bellmer.

Pangæa premiered in the summer of 2012 in LA. It quickly grew into a creative stronghold of the city, hosting monthly events and performing at cultural festivals in the surrounding area and beyond, while educating thousands on consent practices.
Each month, a new band of lipstick thespians assembles at Crack Bellmer, a nightclub in RAW Gelände within the heart of Friedrichshain, a 10 minute walk from Warschauer Station with step-free access inside.

Doors open at 18:00 to a small art gallery and marketplace that guests can enjoy while relaxing in the rustic, well-ventilated hall or cozy outdoor smoking terrace.

The show begins at 19:00 and features a break midway through. Showcasing established and emerging Berlin talent, it is the culmination of a month-long collaborative process and features drag kings, queens and things, burlesque performers of all body types, musicians and circus people. Pangæa values difference and strives to prioritize Black and indigenous, disabled, fat, migrant and otherwise multiply-marginalized artists.

Pangæa is both mother and child to drag king astrophysicist HP Loveshaft. Since arriving in Berlin, this powerhouse of performance has featured on stages around the city and across Europe, producing solo shows and appearing in larger ensembles at Festspiele, Volksbühne and SO36.

Born in Moscow to Jewish Ukranian chemists, this trans-atlantic transsexual recently turned to spirituality, channeling his colorful collage of experience into mad prophecy. Having traveled across the cosmos, he returns to the ruins of this world bearing bad news: no one is coming to save us. With support from the Fonds Darstellende Künste and the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, he began a Sodomite Cult with which he hopes to save himself and then perhaps others. Pangæa is part of that story.
