Vechornytsi:

"Ukrainian traditional parties with music, songs, jokes and rituals. Vechornytsi began in the late September after the seasonal agricultural works were over. Young people from Ukrainian villages gathered in the evenings and had parties.These were everyday and festive Vechornytsi."
Vechornytsi is inviting the community to a groovy gathering at Crack Bellmer, to showcase Music and Art by the beautiful Ukrainian artists currently in Berlin.
The goal of this Vechornytsi is to raise awareness of russia’s terrorist invasion of Ukraine, while raising money to provide direct support to various efforts taking place today Ukraine.

One of the idea behind JAM CATS
is to make a situation happen where people just meet on stage.
This time we are so pleased to welcome Iris Romen
to open the Jam with some of the finest hot jazz cats of the scene.
Iris has collaborated with some of the biggest names around the vintage/jazz scene
such as Ray Collins, Andrej Hermlin or Astrid North
and we are very much looking forward to have her and her band mates on board!

HEY, YOU COOL CATS!
The Jam Cats live session finally returns to carry on
the legacy of old jazz mingling live sessions and DJ-sets.

We want everyone to have fun, dancers and musicians alike
with a stage open for early Jazz, Swing, RnB, and other fun styles to dance to
with a focus on Balboa since we are operating with Bellmer Balboa.

The jam will be run by members of the Syncopation Society
to ensure that the party flows, allowing everyone to dance,
or to simply sit back and enjoy the music.

Generous donations for the band and dj
are highly appreciated and expected.

We are happy to see new faces in the scene,
come to the JAM CATS grants you free entrance
and 1 or 2 drinks if you play.
Just keep in mind that this is a DANCE EVENT
and it implies to be reactive and to keep your solos short and sweet.
If you are up for it, be prepared to be reactive on stage.
If you want to play, make it clear and talk to one of the musicians on stage
to see when is a good time to step in.

Smut Slam Berlin: a great space for curious adults

Berlin’s only community dirty storytelling open mic is back on March 20, at 7pm CET. The theme this month is "GOING FOR IT." On this night, we revel in stories of when big steps, bold measures, and leaps of faith seemed necessary. Did your vision exceed your grasp? Don't care, we want to hear it!

Tickets: €15-20 sliding scale donation per person (adv purchase), or €20 cash at the door. Low-income €10 rush tickets available at the door ONLY, if any tickets remain unsold at time of show.

Created and hosted by professional perv Cameryn Moore, the Smut Slam features real-life, first-person sex stories from the audience, stories from guests and sometimes even celebrity judges, and also readings from THE FUCKBUCKET, a convenient and funnily named receptacle for all your anonymous questions and confessions!

IMPORTANT: Smut Slam is queer-friendly, kink- AND vanilla-friendly, fat-friendly, sex worker-friendly, virgin-friendly, polyamory-friendly, we're really, really friendly. We welcome people with all types and amounts of sexual experiences. We DO NOT welcome stories or fuckbuckets involving racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia or any other kind of discrimination, or nonconsensual objectification or fetishization. *** As of this slam, Smut Slam Berlin has removed our mask requirement, but we still encourage mask use indoors. This remains one of the best ways to protect yourself against getting sick from COVID or any of the other airborne diseases going around.
*** TESTING NOTICE: Please bring same-day negative test results from a test center, or come early to take a self-test at the door (for €2, thank you!). We will have Smutterlings on hand to assist. IF YOU TEST POSITIVE, we will have to send you home.
