HEY, YOU COOL CATS!
The Jam Cats live session finally returns to carry on the legacy of old jazz mingling live sessions and DJ-sets.

We want everyone to have fun, dancers and musicians alike with a stage open for early Jazz, Swing, RnB, and other fun styles to dance to with a focus on Balboa since we are operating with Bellmer Balboa.
The jam will be run by members of the Syncopation Society to ensure that the party flows, allowing everyone to dance, or to simply sit back and enjoy the music.

Generous donations for the band and dj are highly appreciated and expected.

DISCLAIMER FOR MUSICIANS

We are happy to see new faces in the scene, come to the JAM CATS grants you free entrance and 1 or 2 drinks if you play. Just keep in mind that this is a DANCE EVENT and it implies to be reactive and to keep your solos short and sweet.
If you are up for it, be prepared to be reactive on stage. If you want to play, make it clear and talk to one of the musicians on stage to see when is a good time to step in.
There's a piano on the stage with atmospheric amplification.

Smut Slam Berlin: we make room for you to bring the raunchy.

Berlin’s only community dirty storytelling open mic returns on Monday, January 16, at 7pm CET. The theme this month is "PARTY": Wherever people gather with fun in mind, there's always a chance that something good, or at least weird, is going to happen. Spill it, you party animal!

Tickets: €15-20 sliding scale donation per person (adv purchase). Low-income €10 rush tickets available at the door, if any tickets remain unsold at time of show.

8-10:30pm: Smut Slam, in the old-fashioned way (with one short intermission)
10:30-whenever: stay for a little longer, we don't have to worry about neighbors here!

Created and hosted by professional perv Cameryn Moore, the Smut Slam features real-life, first-person sex stories from the audience, stories from guests and sometimes even celebrity judges, and also readings from THE FUCKBUCKET, a convenient and funnily named receptacle for all your anonymous questions and confessions!

IMPORTANT: Smut Slam is queer-friendly, kink- AND vanilla-friendly, fat-friendly, sex worker-friendly, virgin-friendly, polyamory-friendly, we're really, really friendly. We welcome people with all types and amounts of sexual experiences. We DO NOT welcome stories or fuckbuckets involving racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia or any other kind of discrimination, or nonconsensual objectification or fetishization. All activities discussed must be CONSENSUAL.

SMUT SLAM is CREATED by Cameryn Moore, an award-winning playwright/performer, sex activist and educator, and former phone sex operator. When not performing, riding the train, or actually having sex herself, Cameryn writes Sidewalk Smut: custom type-written erotica as street performance and literary art.

WE PRACTICE SAFER SMUT! We are limiting capacity to 50 ticketholders at this event. DO NOT ATTEND if you are feeling poorly! There will be more slams!

** Crack Bellmer has a state-of-the-art ventilation and air filtration system, with air fully exchanged every 15 minutes.
** THIS SLAM is indoors and therefore is FULLY MASKED, except when you are taking a sip or a bite, or you may choose to remove the mask while telling a story from the microphone.

*** TESTING NOTICE: Please bring same-day negative test results from a test center, or come early to take a self-test at the door (for €2, thank you!). We will have Smutterlings on hand to assist. IF YOU TEST POSITIVE, we will have to send you home.

For the 2nd edition of our concept at @crackbellmer, we stay true to our belief that variety and experimentation are the main components of an exciting event.

The musical voyage will be delivered by /2StepBec/ @rebeccacrysell representing @rowzbookings and /Alina/ @__mocean__ 1/2 of @smoovemocean . Both artists have a distinct approaches to music and having them on the same night makes us nothing but excited.

@jonza.prg will join us yet again from Prague for another live visual treatment.
