Smut Slam Berlin: breaking down the walls and picking up the pieces.

Berlin’s only community dirty storytelling open mic returns on Monday, Dec 19, at 7pm CET. The theme this month is "AFTER": After care. After glow. After-party. Aftermath. Morning after. You get the drift. After the bing-bang-boom, what else is left in the room? Because sometimes a story about sex has to have an epilogue.

Tickets: €15-20 sliding scale donation per person (adv purchase). Low-income €10 rush tickets available at the door, if any tickets remain unsold at time of show.

Created and hosted by professional perv Cameryn Moore, the Smut Slam features real-life, first-person sex stories from the audience, stories from guests and sometimes even celebrity judges, and also readings from THE FUCKBUCKET, a convenient and funnily named receptacle for all your anonymous questions and confessions!

IMPORTANT: Smut Slam is queer-friendly, kink- AND vanilla-friendly, fat-friendly, sex worker-friendly, virgin-friendly, polyamory-friendly, we're really, really friendly. We welcome people with all types and amounts of sexual experiences. We DO NOT welcome stories or fuckbuckets involving racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia or any other kind of discrimination, or nonconsensual objectification or fetishization. All activities discussed must be CONSENSUAL.

SMUT SLAM is CREATED by Cameryn Moore, an award-winning playwright/performer, sex activist and educator, and former phone sex operator. When not performing, riding the train, or actually having sex herself, Cameryn writes Sidewalk Smut: custom type-written erotica as street performance and literary art.

WE PRACTICE SAFER SMUT! We are limiting capacity to 50 ticketholders at this event. DO NOT ATTEND if you are feeling poorly! There will be more slams!

** Crack Bellmer has a state-of-the-art ventilation and air filtration system, with air fully exchanged every 15 minutes.
** THIS SLAM is indoors and therefore is FULLY MASKED, except when you are taking a sip or a bite, or you may choose to remove the mask while telling a story from the microphone.

*** TESTING NOTICE: Please bring same-day negative test results from a test center, or come early to take a self-test at the door (for €2, thank you!). We will have Smutterlings on hand to assist. IF YOU TEST POSITIVE, we will have to send you home, but we will refund your ticket purchase online.

The phrase FOGO NO CU [Brazilian Portuguese]: literally ‘fire in the ass’ perfectly encapsulates the energy of the community we’ve built up in the last years.

Following a sellout last solo event in August and our delicious takeover of the G-Spot @ House of Lunacy in September, this winter edition of FOGO NO CU will banish all evidence of the cold outside as we bring the fire to Crack Bellmer in Friedrichshain.

The FOGO NO CU collective draws inspiration from our various Latin American, Afro- and African, and European heritages, and our community is a beautiful mix of backgrounds, genders, sexualities and identities. We are queer, colourful, open-minded…and wild!

Diversity is our reason for existing and at the core of everything we do. We therefore give the overwhelming majority of our support to underrepresented groups, including queer, POC, FLINTA and migrant-background artists. This applies to all the artists performing on December 17th.

Expect seductive and energetic grooves from across a spectrum of house and electronic music, a wild dance-floor, lots of comfy and decorated chill-out spaces…and of course a huge amount of FOGO NO CU!

FOGO NO CU grew organically from a group of our friends and then friends of friends, and we continue to strive to create environments with that same energy, with respectful, kind and aware people - but we are acutely aware that no space can be so utopian, nor 100% safe, not least a public venue.

Please therefore look out for yourself, your friends and other guests. If you witness any discriminatory, disrespectful or any kind of toxic or concerning behaviour please reach out to members of our collective or the bar / door staff. Consent is not negotiable and we take this very seriously. Always ask before initiating physical contact. Remember that this includes touching, hugging, playing with someone’s hair, spanking or entering someone’s personal space. If in doubt, ASK. Asking for consent eliminates confusion and fosters a tighter, safer and more open community. If it’s not an enthusiastic “Yes!”, treat it as a no.

For example consent does not look like:
- a reluctant “maybe”
- “hmmmmmmmmm”
- “not now” (this does not mean, “yes, later”)
- “no... no.... No.... okay, fine...”

Dj Mature, our second captain, straight out of Montreal, will come with his freshness and surprising vibes on the dancefloor. He knows how to turn you on!

FRIEDRICHSHAIN, BERLIN – Queer cabaret Pangæa takes place every 3rd Friday of the month at Crack Bellmer.

Pangæa originally premiered in the summer of 2012 in LA. It quickly grew into a creative stronghold of the city, hosting monthly events and performing at cultural festivals in the surrounding area and beyond, while educating thousands on consent practices.

Each month, a new band of lipstick thespians assembles at Crack Bellmer, a nightclub in RAW Gelände within the heart of Friedrichshain, a 10 minute walk from Warschauer Station with step-free access inside. Revaler Str. 99, 10245

Doors open at 18:00 to a small art gallery and marketplace that guests can enjoy while relaxing in the rustic, well-ventilated hall or cozy outdoor smoking terrace.

The show begins at 19:00 and features a break midway through. Showcasing established and emerging Berlin talent, it is the culmination of a month-long collaborative process and features drag kings, queens and things, burlesque performers of all body types, musicians and circus people. Pangæa values difference and strives to prioritize Black and indigenous, disabled, fat, migrant and otherwise multiply-marginalized artists.

Pangæa is both mother and child to drag king astrophysicist HP Loveshaft. Since arriving in Berlin, this powerhouse of performance has featured on stages around the city and across Europe, producing solo shows and appearing in larger ensembles at Festspiele, Volksbühne and SO36.

Born in Moscow to Jewish Ukranian chemists, this trans-atlantic transsexual recently turned to spirituality, channeling his colorful collage of experience into mad prophecy. Having traveled across the cosmos, he returns to the ruins of this world bearing bad news: no one is coming to save us. With support from the Fonds Darstellende Künste and the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, he began a Sodomite Cult with which he hopes to save himself and then perhaps others. Pangæa is part of that story.
