Smut Slam Berlin: "GREEDY"

Smut Slam Berlin: giving you whatever you think you can handle, and then some.

Berlin’s only community dirty storytelling open mic returns on Monday, Nov 21, at 7pm CET.

This time we're reaching out for more of the good stuff with the theme of "GREEDY." Ever dive way in over your head? Get your hand stuck in the cookie jar? Eyes bigger than... well, whatever? Tell us about the time when you just COULDN'T GET ENOUGH.

Tickets: €15-20 sliding scale donation per person (adv purchase). Low-income €10 rush tickets available at the door, if any tickets remain unsold at time of show.

8-10:30pm: Smut Slam, in the old-fashioned way (with one short intermission)
10:30-whenever: stay for a little longer, we don't have to worry about neighbors here!

Created and hosted by professional perv Cameryn Moore, the Smut Slam features real-life, first-person sex stories from the audience, stories from guests and sometimes even celebrity judges, and also readings from THE FUCKBUCKET, a convenient and funnily named receptacle for all your anonymous questions and confessions!

IMPORTANT: Smut Slam is queer-friendly, kink- AND vanilla-friendly, fat-friendly, sex worker-friendly, virgin-friendly, polyamory-friendly, we're really, really friendly. We welcome people with all types and amounts of sexual experiences. We DO NOT welcome stories or fuckbuckets involving racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia or any other kind of discrimination, or nonconsensual objectification or fetishization. All activities discussed must be CONSENSUAL.

SMUT SLAM is CREATED by Cameryn Moore, an award-winning playwright/performer, sex activist and educator, and former phone sex operator. When not performing, riding the train, or actually having sex herself, Cameryn writes Sidewalk Smut: custom type-written erotica as street performance and literary art.

WE PRACTICE SAFER SMUT! We are limiting capacity to 50 ticketholders at this event. DO NOT ATTEND if you are feeling poorly! There will be more slams!

** Crack Bellmer has a state-of-the-art ventilation and air filtration system, with air fully exchanged every 15 minutes.
** THIS SLAM is indoors and therefore is FULLY MASKED, except when you are taking a sip or a bite, or you may choose to remove the mask while telling a story from the microphone.

*** TESTING NOTICE: Please bring same-day negative test results from a test center, or come early to take a self-test at the door (for €2, thank you!). We will have Smutterlings on hand to assist. IF YOU TEST POSITIVE, we will have to send you home, but we will refund your ticket purchase online.

Pangæa : Science Friction, Double Creature

Last Tuesday, in a galaxy next door, a band of lipstick thespians came together, shortly after meeting.

Join us for a double-helping of our usual queer nonsense -- stay after the show to party all night with our very own in-house DJs.

This month's theme? SCIENCE FICTION! Calling all cyborgs, extraterrestrials & temporally-unbound beings to join us for futuristic fetishistic festivities. Come in your best out-of-this-world look to skip the queue & a chance to win Fabulous Prizes™^°‡·

FRIEDRICHSHAIN, BERLIN – Queer cabaret Pangæa takes place every 3rd Friday of the month at Crack Bellmer.

Pangæa originally premiered in the summer of 2012 in LA. It quickly grew into a creative stronghold of the city, hosting monthly events and performing at cultural festivals in the surrounding area and beyond, while educating thousands on consent practices.

Each month, a new band of lipstick thespians assembles at Crack Bellmer, a nightclub in RAW Gelände within the heart of Friedrichshain, a 10 minute walk from Warschauer Station with step-free access inside. Revaler Str. 99, 10245

Doors open at 18:00 to a small art gallery and marketplace that guests can enjoy while relaxing in the rustic, well-ventilated hall or cozy outdoor smoking terrace.

The show begins at 19:00 and features a break midway through. Showcasing established and emerging Berlin talent, it is the culmination of a month-long collaborative process and features drag kings, queens and things, burlesque performers of all body types, musicians and circus people. Pangæa values difference and strives to prioritize Black and indigenous, disabled, fat, migrant and otherwise multiply-marginalized artists.

Pangæa is both mother and child to drag king astrophysicist HP Loveshaft. Since arriving in Berlin, this powerhouse of performance has featured on stages around the city and across Europe, producing solo shows and appearing in larger ensembles at Festspiele, Volksbühne and SO36.

Born in Moscow to Jewish Ukranian chemists, this trans-atlantic transsexual recently turned to spirituality, channeling his colorful collage of experience into mad prophecy. Having traveled across the cosmos, he returns to the ruins of this world bearing bad news: no one is coming to save us. With support from the Fonds Darstellende Künste and the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, he began a Sodomite Cult with which he hopes to save himself and then perhaps others. Pangæa is part of that story.
