Lyrically, Aphty touches on social commentary, including radical leftist slogans in Greek, venturing into topics such as gender identity and queerness, cisheteropatriarchy, anticapitalism, mental health, existentialism and even... a zombie apocalypse. Their live sets are known for their dynamic and energetic nature, with Aphty regularly joining the crowd, so get ready to dance, mosh and shout your heart out.
DANCE
Max Mella b2b Josafat
Do You Know Juno: Do You Know Juno is a vinyl DJ who approaches every set as a story shaped by jazz roots that bind the entire journey, deep rhythmic sensibilities, and a strong reference for the Detroit and Chicago lineage with a contemporary twist. Her sound lives in the continuum of jazz dance music: from spiritual and fusion jazz through disco, broken beat, and soulful house music traditions. Anchored in jazz phrasing, improvisation, and swing, she channels the soulful percussiveness of Detroit sounds as well as complex organic sounds from nu-jazz while drawing equally from disco’s rich musicality and Chicago house’s raw groove and even acid. These influences become narrative tools, live instrumentation dissolving into analog textures, warm chords flowing into gritty rhythms, creating emotionally coherent arcs that fuse timeless musicianship with forward-thinking dance floor energy.Since arriving in Berlin in 2024, Juno has quickly become one of the city’s most sought-after emerging DJs. Her distinctive storytelling approach has brought her to the stage with Craig Smith, Kyoto Jazz Massive, Dan Shake, Detroit Techno Militia, and DJ Jus-Ed. Alongside her DJ work, she curates events across the city, including Storytellers, Jazz on Toast, and Burnin’ to Blue, advocating for dance culture with clarity, intention, and deep respect for the musical foundations that continue to guide her.
