Lineup:
Berglind Ágústsdóttir [Iceland] - Pop - dance - experimental - Lo-fi experiments
Graduated from Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2003. She has been active in the art scene, both domestic and internationally since. Berglind’s involvement with the arts includes hosting events, curating, musician, as well as artist. Berglind has shown her art and played her music around the world. There is no doubt about it that her art is paired with her appearance and attitude in daily life. Just like in her life she uses colour, patterns, toys and photographs to express her matter of heart.
Culture Crush [Argentina/Berlin] - World music - Downtempo
The new, dark, conceptual solo project from Berlin-based producer Leandro Viernes. It celebrates freedom as a means of expression, transcending neo-fascism and our culture of surveillance to “reinvent love”. Released across digital platforms in April 2021 through the eclectic Swiss label “Hawaii Bonsaï Records”, Culture Crush’s first EP was named “Eros” after the centerpiece track. Originally from Argentina, Leandro Viernes has released three albums, countless singles, and music videos with his electro-pop solo project. Now in an act of reinvention, he has given birth to the nightmarish version of his pop dream.
Morwan [Ukraine] - Post punk - Dark
The flourishing Eastern European post-punk scene has given way to a boom of dark, rhythmic, and powerful new activity. One of the most original and captivating artists to recently emerge from this scene is Kiev, Ukraine's Morwan. The solo project of Alex Ashtaui, Morwan evolved from an earlier post-punk project, 563 (Pyat'shest'tri). Searching for a new direction, Ashtaui circled back to his half-Ukrainian, half-Arab roots, arriving at the perfect crossroads - a sonic aesthetic informed by both ethnic tradition and the familiar territory of dark, driving post-punk.
Vito Nicholas [New Zealand] - House - Leftfield - Rare Groove
A member of RBL Berlin, Vito will be playing funk, italo and downtempo gems from recent digs in Napoli and elsewhere. Anything will be up for grabs in search of the perfect groove.
